Some of Christine’s recent poetry has appeared in Terrain.org, Nimrod, The Pedestal Magazine, Quay, OCHO #5, the Aurorean, and the anthology Riffing on Strings: Creative Writing Inspired by String Theory.

In 2006, a selection of her poems was chosen as a finalist for Nimrod's Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry.

Also in 2006, she won a “Commended Award” in the Margaret Reid Contest for Traditional Verse for her poem, ”Tonight I walked into the sunset”. This poem was also featured in MiPOradio’s The Countdown, Episode 15.

In October 2006 her poem, "How to perceive red," made it onto the Guardian's Poetry Workshop shortlist: Words on pictures. In April 2006 her poem "This is not a poem" also appeared on the Guardian's Poetry Workshop shortlist: Opposition Victories. In December 2005 her poem “How to photograph the heart” was on the Guardian's Poetry Workshop shortlist: Poems that tell a story.

In March 2005 the Aurorean showcased her work as its “Featured Poet-of-the-Quarter,” and in 2004 Inside Out, a poetry anthology, featured her photography and poetry.

For three years she served as Site Administrator for Poets.org’s discussion forum.

She is Editor of Autumn Sky Poetry, an international poetry journal.
